Axiom V4 and Parallax V2 are coming in October

We’re preparing the next generation of two of our core neural models: Axiom V4 and Parallax V2.

Axiom V4 and Parallax V2 are coming in October

Both will be released during October.

The direction is the same one we followed with DeepPrism 2.0: not simply making the models bigger, but making them more capable, more adaptive and more reliable on real astronomical data.

Axiom V4

Axiom V4 will focus on cleaner and more controlled star separation, with particular attention to difficult stellar profiles, crowded fields, bright cores, diffraction structures and complex backgrounds.

The goal is not simply better removal. It is better separation: preserving the background signal while keeping stellar structures as natural and consistent as possible.

Parallax V2

Parallax V2 represents a deeper generational change.

It is being developed around our adaptive restoration work, including the principles behind AADR — Adaptive Astronomical Degradation Restoration.

Rather than applying the same fixed restoration behaviour to every image, Parallax V2 is designed to analyze the degradation state of the data and adapt the restoration process accordingly.

It will also introduce five intelligence levels, giving users more control over how the model responds to different PSFs, blur conditions, sampling levels and optical degradation.

Free updates for existing customers

Both Axiom V4 and Parallax V2 will be free updates for existing customers.

If you already own Axiom Pro or Parallax Pro, you will not need to purchase the new generation again.

Both releases are planned for October, and we’ll share more technical details, benchmarks and release information as we get closer.

These are not minor revisions.

They are the next generation of Axiom and Parallax.

SyQon Journal documents product decisions, engineering work and applied imaging research as they develop.
